“AGAINST DOOM” AT AMHERST COLLEGE
Macon Reed was invited to Amherst College’s Department of Art and The History of Art to be their 2018-2019 Artist-in-Residence and Visiting Professor. Against Doom was a solo exhibition she completed at Eli Marsh Gallery as part of her contribution to the college. A Pressing Conference was included as part of the exhibition, along with reports on the global and domestic safety of journalists, prompts for students to use during daily open mic hours, and a series of new paintings.
